Mindful Living
The Mindful Living Course
Mindful Living is a course for those who would like to bring mindfulness into their daily lives. It's a self-directed programme that you can do from the comfort of your own home. The course is split into 4 chapters covering the themes of; present moment awareness, mindfulness of the breath, connecting to the body, and compassionate responding.
Each chapter includes a video tutorial and an accompanying booklet. Chapters 2 to 4 also include audio files of guided meditations that you are encouraged to practice regularly as you work your way through the course. Please note: you will need access to broadband internet to view the course materials.
Is Mindfulness right for me?
The best time to learn meditation is when you are feeling fairly settled, and have the time and energy to commit yourself to the practice. As such, if you are experiencing high levels of emotional distress or overwhelming practical problems; we would recommend you seek other forms of support before commencing this course.
Your feedback is important to us!
Mindful Living is a new course for the Norfolk and Waveney Talking Therapies and we are requesting feedback to find out what people's experience of undertaking the programme is like. As such, when you have completed the training, we would be grateful if you could kindly provide your feedback via our online survey. The survey is confidential and should not take any longer than 10 minutes to complete.
