Reading and activity suggestions from the Peer Support Workers:

  • Bird Therapy by Joe Harkness
  • Capturing Mindfulness by Matthew Johnstone
  • Start collecting one small thing each time you are out in nature. Take your thing home and put it in a jar/something see-through. Keep collecting and filling your jar, and keep it somewhere that you can see, so it can remind you of the places you've been, or the time you spent outside, or a person you were with - a whole host of memories can be brought up by your jar of nature.
  • Getting outside as much as possible
  • Using a camera/phone to slow your pace down and appreciate what is around you. Throw away the idea of the perfect picture and take the picture how I want; these can be reviewed on rainy days.

Episode 8: Stress

Inspired by Stress Awareness Month, Peer Support Workers Rachel, Andrea and Holly are joined by Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners Dan and Eleanor. They will be discussing stress and giving their top tips for managing it.
