Wellbeing Walks – Carlton Marshes

Event types

  • Social Event
  • In Person social

Summary

Join us at the stunning Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve (meeting at the front of the Visitor Centre) to explore the local wetland habitat and the wildlife it has to offer. Please feel free to join us after the walk at approximately 11.30am at the wonderful Visitor Centre for a cuppa and a chat.

The Visitor Centre is fully accessible. The walks are wheelchair accessible, and some are mobility scooter accessible (you can even hire a mobility scooter from the Visitor Centre!).

There is free parking on site (donations welcome) and access from the train station. The nearest station is at Oulton Broad South. Enjoy a scenic 0.8 mile walk (18 mins) to the reserve .

Our socials are not a therapy session, but a chance to connect with like-minded people in an informal and relaxed setting. Anyone aged 16+ is welcome with no need for referral or booking, just turn up! All of our socials are free to attend.
