Wellbeing Walks – Dereham

Event types

  • Social Event

Summary

The Ted Ellis walk is a short, easy walk crossing Scarning Meadows, a county wildlife site rich in biodiversity. The route combines mostly flat tracks and paths but please do dress appropriately for the weather including suitable footwear.

After the walk we have been offered free refreshments at Dereham Cancer Care in Baldings Yard off Cowper Road where you are welcome to join us, even if you haven't attended the walk.

There are various free car parks around the town centre however many have time restrictions so please check before you park.

Parking at the Dereham Shopping Centre car park accessed from Commercial Road is free for 3 hours. Cherry Tree Car Park on Theatre Street is free all day.

Please note, our socials are not a therapy session, but an opportunity to make social connections with like-minded people. Anyone 16+ is welcome to attend with no need to book.
