Menopause and Women's Wellbeing

This workshop aims to provide support and information for everyone involved - peri or post menopause, or if you are supporting someone who is going through this stage in their life.

We will discuss the signs, symptoms and the impact of the menopause and introduce some techniques to help manage them. Most importantly it's about supporting women to talk about this stage of their life and shining a light on this area of women's health and wellbeing.

This session is suitable for all who want to know more about the menopause whether you are going through it yourself or supporting someone who is.

You will need to book in at least 48 hours before a workshop is due to start.

 

This is a live online presentation, where you log in on your computer, phone or tablet. A clinician will present the workshop via webcam. You will not be seen by other attendees and you can ask questions to the facilitator in real time via a chat function that is private and not visible to the rest of the group.

This workshop can be accessed by itself or in conjunction with other treatment within the Wellbeing service.

The workshop content focuses on resources and information to help the general public maintain good emotional and psychological wellbeing and is not designed to offer specialist mental health support for those with more severe and enduring mental health problems.
